End all.

It was 6th of June 20**, the Smith’s family is eating their lunch in an old opal table. There wasn’t any occasion but the table is filled with delicious foods, fresh fruits, candies and chocolates and a fine wine from a famous winery.

“It’s the fateful day, huh”, John Doe Smith, the father of the family said in a calm, rational voice underlying the anxiousness of the man.

“Yes, it is. I never thought this day would come”, Anne Smith, the wife of John said it on the verge of tears but decided to keep it.

“Mom, are we going outside”
” Yes Mom you said we’re going on a picnic”, the twin daughters of the Smiths who are barely four years old, both exclaimed in a cheerful manner.

“Yes Honey, we’re going on a picnic and we’re going to have fun”, Annie said in a broken voice.

It was around 1 PM when the Smiths finished their picnic set up. There are also other families who chose to have a picnic at the park.

The twins began playing along with the other children, running around with a huge smiles on their faces.

Anne, however is keeping her tears as she watched her two daughters.

“Its okay, everything’s going to be okay”, John said trying to comfort her wife.

It was around 2 PM when that thing showed up, first it started as small glowing dot in the blue sky, until it gets bigger and bigger and after just twenty minutes, it showed itself, a harrowing form,a huge gigantic metallic celestial body , is going closely to the planets surface.

“Mommy, what’s that”, one of twin asked.

Annie, who just couldn’t keep it, started crying and hug her daughters. John hug his family for maybe the last time as he started sobbing and muttered in a sad, depressed voice, “God, help us”

By that time the celestial body only needed twenty more minutes to initiate the final blow. It may be the longest twenty minutes every one will be going through. At this point John thought why all of  these happened. Actually the space bureau already knew about it, but they downsided the threat, it was not only a month ago when they addressed the public, and by that time it was already too late. They thought the celestial body would change its course, but it didn’t happened, they thought it would just flew past them, but it didn’t happened, so here we are counting down the last minutes of everyones lives.

“God if you’re there please make it stop! Make it stop!”, John screamed which rattled the twins as they started sobbing while hugging their mother.

Twenty minutes has passed.
It happened.
It happened.

There was a loud crash that was heard all throughout the planet. What comes after is pure catastrophe on a global scale.

Then silence.
Silence.
Silence.

“All clear, sire”, said a small voice in the background.

“Good, it was easy, no resistance at all”, an ominous voice that seems to emanate from the deep space responded.

“No sire, according to our scouting reports they seem to be occupied with finding a cure to some plague, nonetheless we have finished our business here, this is the last planet of this galaxy needed for eradication”

“Good, and on the next step of our domination.”

“Yes sire, we already cleansed the Andromeda Galaxy, onward now to the Milky Way”

“Yes, let us continue”
